Electro-Acupuncture
Electro-Acupuncture (e-stim) uses a small electric current stream that can be connected to Acupuncture needles. This procedure increases circulation and is used specifically if stronger stimulation of the needles is required. Electrical stimulation can be used for many purposes, the most common being pain and neuropathy. It is often used for musculoskeletal issues and/or sports injuries.Acupuncture needles are inserted into specific points and then electrodes are attached to the needles. A gentle current is used to stimulate muscle tension and release. Patients report feeling a gentle tapping sensation at the site of treatment.

Gua sha
Gua sha is a TCM procedure that involves gentle massage-like scraping of an area of the body using disposable lids to alleviate the stagnation of Qi (pronounced Chee) and blood deep within the tissue.Gua Sha refers to a form of cutaneous therapy common throughout the Far East and now used as the basis for mainstream physiotherapy techniques (such as "Graston").The red patches of skin created by the scraping (called "Sha"), detoxify the blood and restore the healthy flow if Qi (energy) to the area. There is no pain involved, and the Sha will fade in 2 to 3 days. But the sense of health and vitality experienced from it will last much longer.

Moxibustion
Moxibustion is a treatment that uses an herb called mugwort to either warm an area of the body or to warm an Acupuncture point. This technique increases circulation locally and warms/tonifies the body. It may be burned on the handle of the needle, above the skin, on salt or on a slice of ginger. This is used to “warm” acupuncture points or areas in order to quicken the healing process.
-
TDP Mineral Lamp
TDP Mineral Lamp is a type of heating lamp that is placed above the skin. TDP mineral lamps coincide with the intensity of electromagnetic wavelengths that are released by the human body. Through a mineral plate, the TDP lamp emits 33 essential minerals which are vital to our cells and tissues. Through these processes, the lamp has been known to promote metabolism, regulate physiological deficiency, diminish inflammation and ease pain.
